    Hi,

I moving my first steps with your plugin and appreciated the good documentation, with hooks and filters.
Is it feasible to create membership levels that expire after, let’s say, 25 minutes?
I would also trigger the timer just as the registred user access the premium content.
    Thanks in advance,

    Patrizio

Hi, can you provide an example of what you are trying to achieve?

    Thank you

Hi, thanks for your reply, trying to explain the idea right away.

I’ve got a chat support installed yet, with three different departments each having its own page with a chat software, let’s say /chat_a , /chat_b , /chat_c, the first will be free, the others accessible by fee.
When you access page /chat_b or page /chat_c the first time, you can purchase a recurring service, this is where Simple Membership comes in play.
After purchase, you’ll be redirected to the service page you selected.
Entering one of those pages with your credentials and an active membership should trigger a timer (the chat service will be on line in seconds).
Time will be set in minutes, let’s say 25 minutes for chat_b. 50 minutes for chat_c.

What I need at this moment is an action I could use in order to set that user membership state to ‘expired’ as long as the time is up for the service they bought (25 or 50 minutes).
When a php timer I built will reach the expiration time, it should call the action in order to update that user’s membership status.

At this point,I could just refresh the page and so have the user still registred but out of credit and needing to purchase a “new” service.

Let me know if this was clear enough.
    Thanks in advance.

Hi Patrizio, thank you for clarifying further what you are trying to achieve. However this plugin does not have the option to set an account to end in minutes. It only has days, weeks and months. So, I am not sure how you would implement the 25 or 50 minutes for the chat service?

    Regards
