ParticipantI have successfully installed the plugin and it is all working, but I have one page (Membership Dashboard) that is still in draft because when I preview it, it seems the shortcode doesn’t work and just shows up as [simple membership dashboard]
Is there something I need to do to make it work properly?

ParticipantIs this what your’re trying to do?
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/providing-specific-wp-user-roles-access-plugins-admin-dashboard/If so, your users just need to navigate to the WP-Admin URL, after you have configured the setting.
I have never heard of a shortcode that makes a dashboard available to ALL subscribers. (Doesn’t mean that one doesn’t exist.) 😛

ParticipantThanks for replying M. Engelsen. No, this wasn’t it. It was a page I think must have been automatically added with the plugin but the shortcode doesn’t do anything when I preview it. This is the shortcode that is on it. [simple_membership_dashboard]

ModeratorThere is no such shortcode. Is your concern about accessing the dashboard or the existence of the draft page?

ParticipantHow odd! I don’t see that shortcode listed here:

Moderator@MegD — Where did you obtain your copy of SWPM, and what version is it? The only officially supported version is from our website.
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/simple-membership.zip@M.Engelsen — Nor will you find it in the source code.

KeymasterOur plugin doesn’t create any dashboard page that you referenced. The following documentation explains what pages our plugin creates:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/recreating-required-pages-simple-membership-plugin/Any other pages can be deleted. If you got a freelancer to work on your site in the past, he/she may have created that page.
It will be good to delete your copy of the plugin and then download a fresh new copy from the official download page:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-membership/You don’t lose any data in the process so it is safe to delete your copy of the plugin and then re-download.
The best way to get back on track is to download a fresh copy of our plugin to make sure you are using the official version. Then configure things using our documentation here:

ParticipantThanks for your help. I had downloaded from your website, so not sure how it created this page but I will delete the page
