Members purchasing two ranks

Hello, I am having a big problem setting my site up so that my members can be two ranks. One of my ranks is the “CPM” and the other one is the “XTO”. They are both $29.99. How can I make it so that if someone buys the CPM, then they can also buy and have access to the “XTO” if they want? Thank you!

The CPM is a membership level that costs $29.99. The XTO is a membership level that costs $29.99. They each have their own protected content. How can I make it so that if someone is currently a CPM member, they can have the option to buy the XTO but they still need to have access to their CPM permissions as well as having access to their XTO if they decided to buy the XTO too? Hi, let me see if I get what you mean.

Current membership levels.

1) – The CPM is a membership level that costs $29.99.
2) – The XTO is a membership level that costs $29.99.

So that means that those who buy the XTO will have the same permission as if they bought both CPM and XTO. Is that correct?

If the above is correct you could try an upgrade button scenario for those who buy a CPM membership account.

Unfortunately, this is not what I mean. You are right about this:

Those who buy the XTO will NOT have the same permission as if they bought both CPM and XTO.

The CPM and XTO are two completely different packages.
Let’s say CPM gives you an apple every month. Let’s say XTO gives you an orange every month. Someone has the CPM and receives an apple every month, but now they want to receive to be XTO and receive an orange every month. They want to receive both an apple and orange every month. How can I make it so that if people are already receiving an apple every month, but now they want to receive an apple and orange every month. How can I give them the option to add another package on to their already existing package without making them lose their original package? Thank you so much!

Hi, unfortunately you can’t achieve what you want with the current plugin.

The only action I can suggest is to create a third membership level and call it XTOA or something similar.

In this new level XTOA you will have all the CPM and XTO permissions in the one area. But you will hide this XTOA level and make it only available for those who want to upgrade from the CPM membership level.

That is the only way that I know you could achieve what you want.

Thanks for the information! I am really bummed there is no other obvious and easy way to accomplish what I’m trying to accomplish. Do you have any other suggestions on how I can go by doing this?
