Hi, I have just been looking at your plugin but have hit an issue. When users try to reset their passwords they can’t login with the password emailed to them. They can however still login using their previous password.

I am having the same issue. Old password is not been changed? Any help would be great thanks

I’ve overcome this issue for the time being by using another plugin called Clean Login.

I have got the same issue, if i do a password reset, than i got the e-mail, but still my old password working instead of new one.

Any ideas what could cause this issue? Im sure something is with the plugin password reset part and not server or other plugins cause this issue.

hi, we will look into the issue. this should not happen. because when you reset password, it first regenerates a new password, stores it in the db and then send email.

which version of the plugin are you using?

I have same issue, I am using Version v2.1.7

Im using also the newest v2.1.7. Yes it should store in the db first, before sending e-mail, but for me nothing changing, old password remains whichone is working, but what i got in the e-mail it isn’t.

Does it give you a message on your site saying something like the password was reset?

I got the same message, “Password Empty or Invalid.” Also I got an issue that once I logged in then the wordpress admin bar is coming at the top and after logged out the default wordpress login page is coming. How can I change that admin top bar and default wordpress login page?

Please also take a look at the password reset problem.

@rladkssk the developers have found a possible issue with the password reset This will be patched in the next release. Stay tune for the update.
