My member is not recorded as Logged in when using the registration form.
If I manually create and activate the member as a member, it is recognised as logged in when the member logs in.
The class “logged-in” appears in the body. I use this class to control the navigation, because logged-in members can see more than members who are not logged in.

However, if the member goes the usual way via the form, he is not recognised as logged in, although the “profile” page shows that he is logged in.

Upvote. If i log-in via the plugin login form, i am logged-in only in plugin but not in WP. I have to log-in via WP login form then i am logged-in in plugin and (of course) in WP as well.

    I don’t think I was understood correctly.

1st way: Create member manually via “Add new” button.
-> here the member can register in the login form of Simple Membership and is logged in. I see this with the body class “logged-in”

2nd way: Create member via registration form.
-> here the member can register in the login form of Simple Membership but is not logged in because the body classe “logged-in” is missing.

I may be able to solve this by manually adding a body class when a member logs in in general. Is that possible?
Add a classe after the login form via JS or similar, e.g. “member-logged-in”

    Additional information:

When I log in to WordPress with a member who has registered via the form and not from the plugin, I get the error message: ” ACCOUNT PENDING: Your account is currently not active. An administrator needs to activate your account before you can login.”

However, if I log in to the WordPress login with a member that I have registered manually with a button, I get to the WordPress dashboard.

Please turn on the debug logs, and try your tests again.

You also seem to be confusing WordPress User terminology with SWPM Member terminology. WP Users and SWPM Members use different registration and login processes; unless they are configured to sync with each other.
