On default, all paid members account will be put on ‘active’ automatically with no expiry.
However, the accounts get dis-activated automatically for no reason. I’d have to manually, everyday re-activate each account by updating them.
It is very frustrating and the business in turn is losing client’s confidence when they cannot sign in.
After PayPal payment, some were also not sent to the Registration page.
The plugin seems to be still performing ‘under construction’.
I too am experiencing this problem. It doesn’t matter whether people have been added manually or via a purchase at Paypal – their accounts are only active for a maximum of 2 weeks. We can reinstate them, but we are suffering loss of credibility for some basic functionality which is clearly buggy.
What duration value you used in the membership level?
No expiry
just to make sure, are you using latest version?
I was using 1.8.9 – have updated recently and will wait to see if there are any further issues
I am still experiencing same problem with paid membership getting deactivated automatically for unknown reason.
It is a pity, because this plugin by its functionality is so good. The buggy issue is really putting off my clients.
I would have lost more than 50 by now !!! It’s unfortunate for good job gone wasted … 🙁
In our currently released version this issue doesn’t exist (we can see it in our site or our test site). So it is conflicting with another plugin or theme on your site somehow. Try a different plugin and hopefully the other plugin won’t have the same conflict.
Same is happening here, when a cliente cancels there subscription all of the other members are put on inactive.
