I need the functionality to manually override the expiration date of a membership level on specific users that have paid for multiple years of subscriptions prior to moving to this system without having to create a new membership level for each individual. Would it be difficult to implement this functionality in the plugin? I’d rather not have to create a membership level for 6 months, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, etc. years.
You can edit a member’s record and change the start date to a future date to manually update the expiry date. So if a member belongs to a 1 year membership and you want to add 30 days to it manually, then change the start date value of this member to be 30 days in the future from the current value.
Having to manually keep track of a few hundred users this way is not very efficient, however, hence the request to override the expiration date manually for some users.
