mailchimp integration

HI, hope someone can help
I try to signup members to a specific list in MailChimp account.
I installed the plugin
I entered the API key
Put the list name i created in Mailchimp into the membership level i want to use it in
When a member register they get email to confirm registration but my Mailchimp list does not receive the new member
There is no error messages, where can i look to correct it

I think the problem is that the fields in my mailchimp list and the fields in the form when a member register is not all the same.

I added a country field (MMERGE4) in mailchimp, but that field is not in the simple membership form.
I am not sure how to change it.
