ParticipantHi!
I have followed directions in setting up the mail chimp integration & have assigned each membership levels with the appropriate list.
I added a new user from admin side and it doesn’t add the member to the mailchimp list.

ModeratorHi, just for testing purposes can you register the member from the front end of your site. Another words make sure you are not logged in when you register your new member.
Let me know if this works.
Thank you

ParticipantHi mbrsolution,
I thought of trying that.. problem is, I deleted those pages by mistake thinking they were dummy pages from theme. Any way I can retrieve them without completely uninstalling everything? I was going to ask you about that as well… my bad.
However, this is a staff training protection & the access will most likely be done through admin 99% of the time. It would be nice to have that mailchimp list update as client enters a new staff member as to avoid multiple steps in the sign-up process.
Thanks

ModeratorCan you recreate those pages again? Can you also carry out my test. I just want to know if it does work or not from your website.
Thank you

I used the ID: 2 which is for access to everything.. I have 8 levels and all are free.
I can’t seem to be able to register when not signed in.However, when I’m signed in as admin & then go to front end register page, I can register another user & even though the new subscription doesn’t show in my mailchimp for wordpress sync list, it is added to actual mailchimp list when I go straight to mailchimp website.
So it’s just to figure out why it’s not added to mailchimp list when added via admin side.
P.S. I am also having an issue with mailchimp for wordpress plugin… not sure but seems it started when I installed WPML…

ModeratorHi, if you are only allowing Free membership in your site have you read the following documentation?
First lets try and sort this issue out before tackling the following issue.
P.S. I am also having an issue with mailchimp for wordpress plugin… not sure but seems it started when I installed WPML…

ParticipantI will download & use the Simple Membership Registration Form Shortcode Generator. Thanks for that.
I did another test… I deactivated the mailchimp for wordpress plugin… I can now register from front end without signing in. That works!
But… adding a new member via ADMIN still doesn’t add that member to mailchimp. And since I have the default membership set to pending, that forces my client to sign-in to edit the membership anyways. So best would be for him to sign into WP, add his new employee per level & activate from admin side.Anyway we can have a look to see why the admin add member does not add to mailchimp? (even with other plugin disabled?)
P.S. I have already sent a support request to MailChimp for wordpress plugin… no answer yet. My client wants to launch soon so I have deadlines. Any immediate help will be appreciated 😀

ModeratorI have submitted a message to the plugin developers to investigate further the following issue/request.
But… adding a new member via ADMIN still doesn’t add that member to mailchimp.
Thank you

KeymasterAt the moment the mailchimp signup is not performed for when users are manually entered by admin. I will make a change in the next version so members get added to mailchimp even when added via admin dashboard.
