Hello,
I have had to uninstall the mailchimp integration plugin temporarily (I hope) because it seems to add new members to my list with a start date year of ‘1970’ so I don’t feel it is recording the actual join date accurately?
Also, it is not subscribing them to the list as an active contact. It adds them as not opted in with a pending request. I did not select double opt in.
Is anyone able to help me overcome these issues?
Many thanks
Hi,

That is very strange. Have you spoken to MailChimp about this date issue? Is your server date settings configured correctly? Is your WordPress date settings also configured correctly?
Regards
Hi,
I haven’t contacted Mailchimp about it, but the dates on my other sign up forms are all recording accurately, I have tested this.
Wordpress date settings are configured correctly also.
I had to delete the contacts that this plugin added and try to re-add them, but due to GDPR Mailchimp won’t allow me to re-add a previously deleted contact so for now I have resorted back to manual add.
Any help is appreciated as I don’t want to have to continue with manual adds.
