ParticipantHello,
When entering the MailChimp API I get nothing. It only says “MailChimp Settings Saved!” but nothing changes, I can’t get to the page with the MailChimp settings.
I’ve created the list and enabled the API on MailChimp side but I get nothing here.
Please advice.

ModeratorHi, are you wanting to view this option in action?
Create a test account and sign up that way you can see if it is set up correctly and it works. Before this step can you enable Debug mode. That way when you carry out this action and if for what ever reason it does not work then you can check the log file.
Regards

ParticipantHi,
But… how can I see this in action if I don’t get to chose which MailChimp list to use or to change any MC settings whatsoever.
Anyways, I did a test and the debug reuslts are as expected:
[11/11/2015 7:06 PM] – SUCCESS :Mailchimp integration addon. After registration hook. Debug data: |test@testertester.com|Tester1|Tester
[11/11/2015 7:06 PM] – SUCCESS :This membership level (2) has no mailchimp list name specified for it. Mailchimp signup won’t be performed. Please take a look at the screenshot below so you can see what happens when I entered the MC API key and hit Save.
Thanks!

ParticipantHaha. Did you even read my message above?
My issue is that I can’t go past step 3. Every time the Save button is clicked, nothing happens.
See screenshot on previous message.

ModeratorSorry 🙂 I must of have missed that part. If you can’t save the settings in the MailChimp add-on. Try the following disable all your other plugins except this plugin and the add-on, then try again. If that does not work can you find out how much memory you have allocated to your WordPress?

ParticipantDisabled all plugins but Simple Membership and Simple Membership Mail Chimp extension, still nothing, stuck on step 3.
Memory: 21.68 of 256 MB (8%)

ModeratorThank you for reporting back. Can you double check to make sure you are getting the correct MailChimp API. The reason why I am asking is because the image you posted above shows a different sequence number API to the one I have in my MaiLChimp account.

ParticipantYes, I changed it and put a bunch of zeroes on purpose, for the screenshot.
By yes, I’m entering the correct one, I even created a new one and re tried.
Also, I just deleted, not just disabled all other plugins, still nothing.
It’s worth mentioning that I have the form builder extension installed, although I deleted it so test and that didn’t help.

ModeratorOkay try the following, delete this add-on. Then reinstall it again. If that does not work check your server PHP Session by following these instructions.

ParticipantOh my… so this is what’s happening. On these instructions, the step 4 should specify that the MailChimp list name must be entered by going to WP Membership > Membership Levels > Then EDIT an existing membership level and THEN type the desired MailChimp list.
The instructions/screenshots confused me to think that the field to enter the MC list was the next step/screen after saving the API key.
Please clarify this on your documentation.
Thanks for your help!
Problem solved.
