Simple Membership Plugin › Forums › Simple Membership Plugin › Mailchimp Addon: Add member to Mailchimp list only when set to Active status?
In Simple Membership, I have new members set to Pending status by default. I will manually set them to Active status later. With the Simple Membership MailChimp Integration enabled and configured, I’m seeing that new members are automatically added to the Mailchimp list even though their status in Simple Membership is initially Pending. If we decide not to activate a new member, we currently have to go into our Mailchimp account and manually remove them from the list. I’d like them to be added to the Mailchimp list only when their status in Simple membership is set to Active. Is this possible? Thank you.
Hi, just touching base with you. Do you still require support for this issue?
Regards.
Yes, I still need assistance because I never received a response from you about the issue until now.
My apologies about the delay.

Did they register via the registration form? Or did you add them manually?
They registered through the registration form.
Hi, The mailchimp addon currently doesn’t have this capability unfortunately. At the moment, the mailchimp addon listens to the registration submitted hook, and then it calls the mailchimp API. At some point, we will enhance the mailchimp addon in the future.
