InactiveIf you are a coder and believe you can fix the following, please contact me at mary@ChristianGays.com with a quote.
Integration of Multisite Users & Simple Membership Members on Four Sub-Domains plus BuddyPress Profile issues.
I have a main site of christiangays.com with three sub-domains of chat.christiangays.com, dating.christiangays.com and store.christiangays.com
1. When a new member registers he should be automatically registered as a User and a Member on all sites, with the same User ID# and the same Member ID# for each sub-domain. (It would be great if User ID and Member ID were the same, but that would be a bonus).
(Currently the member gets registered as a User on the main christiangays.com site, chat.christiangays.com and dating.christiangays.com, but not on store.christiangays.com, and he gets registered as a Member, but only on the main christiangays.com site, not on any of the sub-domains.)
2. When a member logs into one site, he must be logged into all sites. (This part is working.)
3. When a member logs out of one site he is re-directed to https://christiangays.com/information/ and he must be logged out of the other sites.
(The redirect works, but not the logout. Currently the member gets “logged out” of all sites, BUT you can’t tell, because the Login box still shows them as “logged in”. Each login box on all sites needs to show them as “logged out”.)
4. When a member changes their email address or profile details on one site, it must be changed automatically for all sites.
5. When a member deletes his or her membership, it needs to be deleted from Users and Members for all sites, PLUS he needs to be deleted from List Serve and e-Newsletter.
6. BuddyPress Extended Profiles won’t save. When I fill in the profile fields and I try to save, I get a message “Please make sure you fill in all required fields in this profile field group before saving.” Except that ALL fields have been filled in.
BuddyPress forums say: the issue comes probably from the membership plugin which conflicts with BP registration. In brief, what ever this plugin does (or does not), when BP is activated, you have on the registration process the WP login routine (username, email, password) and the little mandatory Name field coming from BP.
What probably happens, is that you don’t have this Name field on Single Membership registering…
Because of this, BP doesn’t know about the user existence and can’t fire the additional xprofile fields.7. Minimum age is set as 18 but Edit Profile gives the option of year of birth as late as 2016.
Thank you!
