Hello,
My members are being logged out when they try to use a page on the “public” section of the webpage then go back to using the private section of the webpage.
When they try to log back in again, their only shown the “Logged in as” information and the logout link. When they click “logout” they’re taken back to the website home page and have to login again. Sometimes their successful, other times they’re forced to repeat this action or close their browser and start all over again.
Are there any suggestions?
Are the public pages/post also protected?
No, only the private pages are protected.
Do you have a cache plugin installed? If you do, have you excluded the login page from cache?
There is a plugin named “Object-cache.php Memcached Redux”
Description
External object cache.
The real Memcached (not Memcache) backend for the WP Object Cache.
Is that what you mean? Otherwise, no there’s no cache plugin on the site.
Yes that is what I mean. Can you somehow add an exclusion to exclude your login and registration pages? Then enable Debug mode and carry out a test. Report back with any findings.
