    Hi,

    Is anyone else having an issue with this plugin whereby when it’s running if you try to logout of WordPress instead you get a “502 Bad Gateway nginx” error?

    If I refresh this error page I get “You are attempting to log out. Do you really want to log out?” and then I can log out.

    If I disable the plugin ‘Simple WordPress Membership’ then the error does not occur.

    I’ve done some Googling and many suggested fixes (on sites not related to this plugin) suggest making changes at a server level. I’m on shared hosting and cant do this. Also, the fact that if I disable the plugin it fixes the issue leads me to believe the fix lies somewhere within WordPress.

    Any assistance or suggestions would be very much appreciated!

    Just out of curiosity, do you have any redirected added to the logout of the plugin set up? A 502 Bad Gateway is related to servers. This plugin does not control the functionality of servers. It could be related to your website as such. Have you spoken to your host and reported this issue? Do you have access to the server log files?

    Regards

    I’m also having the exact same problem. smdeekster, just curious if speaking with your hosting company resolved your issue?

    Thanks!

    @mykul

    Sorry to say I couldn’t find the solution to my particular problem. My workaround, which worked for me only because of my individual setup, was to create new accounts for the WP users that were impacted. I didn’t really have any more time to spend on this issue. I hope you can find a solution that works for you.
