Hi,
looking at changing the way my site is structured.
We are thinking using the Full Page Protection Addon to block all content from people who are not logged in.
But, if a user is given a URL to a certain article and they land on the page, it looks like they see this type of message

I know we can customise the messaging that goes inside that box, but is there any way of having a login widget appear instead?
Currently, using the screenshot provided, if a user lands on an article and they are not logged in, they’ll have to click the “login” link inside the customised message. They’ll then be brought (away from the article) to the login page. There, they will login. And if we have the redirect installed, they’ll be redirected back to the original article. That is a bit of a convoluted and long process for an end user.
Whereas if the customised message had a login widget attached, they’d never have to leave the article page. They’d land on the article page — and if not logged in — simply login there and then and the content would appear for them.
Is this possible?
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us.
I understand what you mean. Unfortunately at present this is not possible with the full page protection addon.
Kind regards
Hello,
is this something you would consider adding?
In the meantime, what would you recommend instead? Would a login widget in the sidebar perform the same thing/something similar? Keep users on the same page that is.
Hi,
I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your request.
Thank you
