    Hello,

since some weeks I have a big problem with the wp fastest cache plugin together with the simple wp membership as follows:

We do have a login page for members to reach under the url: https://url/membership-login/ if there are round about 7 or 10 logins (different), the next one dose not work anymore until I cleared the wp fastest cache (Buttons: Delete Cache and Delete Cache and Minified CSS/JS) and cleanup the DB (ALL) as well.
Then it work´s for the next round about 10 logins.

Same problem with: https://url/wp-login.php (now 4 logins successful and the 5th try failed and cache must be cleared)

After the login a site showes up with the warning ” you are not logged in …” that means the redirection site is not showing for the member as always.

I didn´t change any settings, in non of this plugins.

Do you have an idea what´s going wrong?
I already contacted the WPFC-Support to get the answer I should ask the developer of the membership plugin 🙁

Thank you very much in advance.

Have you tried using W3 Total Cache Plugin?
I use this caching handler on a lot of my sites and haven’t had many conflicts t speak of.
Plus: the documentation is REALLY good, dated but good!

    Hi Jeffrey,

the time I checked out the caching-plugins I sorted W3 Total Cache out and decided to use WP Fastest Cache Premium – don´t know excactly anymore why but there was a reason.

    But thank´s for the tip.

@marie21 — In order for caching plugins to work properly with SWPM, they are REQUIRED TO SUPPORT the ability to “not cache” pages, if certain cookies are in use. THE ONLY TWO caching plugins that we “officially support” are:

    • WP Super Cache
      https://simple-membership-plugin.com/wp-super-cache-compatibility-simple-membership/

    • W3 Total Cache

What do you mean exactly with “the ability to “not cache” pages, if certain cookies are in use”? Can you please explain more clearly which pages should not be cached.

Was there any changing in the last updates which could be responsible for this problem? Then I can contact the Fastest Cache Support again.

It means exactly that. Please read the documentation for W3 Total Cache, that I earlier referred you to. As part of its configuration for SWPM, you configure it to “not cache” pages when the the swpm_in_use or wptouch_switch_toggle cookies are present.

Can you please explain more clearly which pages should not be cached.

Please read the documentation for WP Super Cache, that I earlier referred you to. It tells you not to cache the login page.

Nothing has changed. What is your reason for not using either of the 2 supported caching plugins?

If anybody else should have make the same “mistake” to use WP Fastest Cache instead of the above meantioned Plugins:

    The solution – hopefully 😉

    Exclude Cookies
    If Cookie contains swpm_in_use

If it will not work out, I will do an update to this post.

Meanwhile many thank´s for the support.
