Linking to a page protected by a membership level from an external program

I am using Simple Membership, where a member has a membership level, and some pages are allowed only to those signed in at the membership level.

I need to have an external package link to my website, and signon supplying the username and password. Is there a way to pass the member username and password so that the user is signed in and then can access any page allowed to that member’s membership level?
