Once a member is logged in using their unique Username/Password, is there a way to prevent anyone else using that same Username/Password to login?
WordPress and Simple Membership allow any number of members to use one Username/Password concurrently. I would like to restrict some membership levels to disallow multiple logins on the same Username/Password. I have a different membership level for groups of people where I want a single Username/Passwords to be used by more than one person at a time.
Ideally, there would be a group system that allows a parent-user with a parent username and password, and lots of child-users below them with the same username but with indidual passwords, but Simple Membership doesn’t cater for that (at present).
Thank you JohnF for your suggestion. The plugin developers will investigate further your request.
I wondered how you were getting on with this, especially as there seems to be a similar request:
Note that I would only want to limit access to certain membership levels. I would definitely want some of the membership levels to allow multiple use of the Username/Password.
Hi John, the developer in the URL you mentioned above says that this feature will be added in the future. I am not sure when that will be but it will be done 😉
I just wanted to be sure that your developer,if he is able to, makes this an option, not mandatory.
