Dear Support, I want to see how my membership site is looking as I build it whilst I’m logged in as an admin. Is that possible? Thank you for your help.
Hi, I don’t understand the question? If you want to view the membership site all you have to do is open the website in a different browser while you are logged in in a different browser. Is this what you are trying to do?
I’m logged in as an admin – but my admin account is not yet a member of a membership level on the site – so I can’t access the pages (which is as it should be of course). So I wanted to see if there was a way I could add myself as a member without going through the Buy Now button?
(no worries if not, I’m already using another browser login to see what I need to see)
I would also find this helpful.
A workaround that I’ve yet to do is create a membership level with the role of admin call it ‘super admin’ create a new a new member/account and use that as your main login it will be both a member and have admin rights.
Cheers
PS. Or just use this plugin it allows you to add multiple roles to a user account, so admin and member

EDIT:
Just be sure to create a new user as you can’t change or add more capabilities to the admin account you are logged in as… weirdly
