WordPress Membership Plugin
Simple Membership Plugin › Forums › Simple Membership Plugin › I can’t access the wordpress admin panel when the plugin is activated
Hello, I installed the plugin and when configuring the options, I put that no user could access the wordpress panel. However, when I put it, it does not let me access as an administrator when activating it, showing me the following message:
The administrator of this site does not allow users to access the desktop of wp.
I looked at the database deleting the plugin files and deleting and re-activating it and everything is still the same.
How can I modify that option without activating the plugin?
I did not add any users to the membership. Thanks.
If you log into an “administrator” user account, you should still be able to go to the “wp-admin” URL of your site and see the normal admin dashboard. The option you referenced won’t stop an administrator account from going to the wp-admin URL of the site. So you can change the settings menu of the plugin by manually going to the following URL of your site:
yourdomain.com/wp-admin
Make sure to log out of any non-admin user account and log into an administrator account.
Hello. The access denial message appears when I log in as Administrator. That’s what seems weird to me.
I solve it. The problem was that the user with whom I entered as administrator had another role as principal. I solved it by creating another user and giving it the rank of admin (the one that comes by default), and I was able to install it and I was able to access it. Thanks.
