Tagged: membership period, payment, upgrading
Hi!
Thanks for a great plugin! I am now getting pretty used to it and have implemented several addons for a better flow.
One think I haven’t been able to solve is how do upgrade a member from one membership level to another, WITHOUT extending the membership period?
I have not been able to find anything about this. I noticed that for every payment, the membership period is extended (added to present time) with my duration of my standard duration of 1 year.
Thanks for any input!
Hi, please check the following documentation.

Let me know if this helps you.
Thank you
Thanks for the quick reply! The solution presented there is for an upgrade, but free of charge. I need my members to pay for the difference between the two levels, but keeping the same membership time. This should be a very common case in the real world, and I was expecting a solution with the plugin for this otherwise excellent and simple to use plugin. Is there another way to accomplish this?
Thanks!
Hi, I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue/request.
Thank you
Hi, At the moment there isn’t an automated way to calculate the difference in amount and auto-create a payment button with that amount. This kind of setup will need a manual step at the moment due to the way our plugin is structured.
