Tagged: Admin menue
I installed the simple membership plugin and remember I selected in one of the menus for the admin menu to disappear for the front end user. As a result now I blocked myself – being the page admin – from further editing the content as both the side and also the top admin menus have disappeared.
I deleted the simple-membership directory on the server but the behavior remains unchanged; no admin menu anymore.
I tried to find which file has been changed from a matching date/time stamp on my server but can’t find anything. Can you please let me know which code in which file has to be changed into what in order for the admin menu to appear again. Otherwise I will not be able to maintain my page anymore.
Thanks in advance and best regards, Klaus Piechowski
I was able to solve the issue myself. I explain below what happened for the help of others.
Rational is, that I got mainly confused by the page behavior as logging on as new established user I – of course – had no admin rights and hence the menu disappeared according to the setup of the plugin. Now, after logging of and logging in in the wp-admin side under my admin name the admin manes were right back where they had to be.
