I want to fire a Facebook Pixel when somebody clicks on the PayPal Smart Button which I have implemented with a short code.
In the past I used a code like this on my landing page to track leads when somebody clicked on a button
<button id=”surveyAgree” class=”stepButton yesBtn” onclick=”fbq(‘track’, ‘Lead’);” href=”<?php echo $agreeLink;?>”>Sign Up</button>
How can I do that with the short code from SMP?
Hi, have you tried using Google Analytics to track visits to the registration page?
Hi, no I haven’t.
How could/should that help to fire the FB pixel when somebody clicks on the PayPal button?
Hi, I am not sure myself. I just wanted to confirm with you if you had. I know that you can do a lot with Google Analytics.
I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your request.
This is not a feature we have unfortunately. I don’t know how best to do this.
