Tagged: Username form field
Hi: We are using a member’s email address as their User Name but we do not want to display the User Name (email address) in the public profile unless the member voluntarily enters it in the “Email” filed of the profile form. I notice in the Profile Form editor that we cannot delete the Username field in the same way we can delete other added fields. Is there a way to code not displaying the Username field in the public profile? Thanks.
Are you using the Form Builder Addon or Member Directory Listing Addon; or just the standard SWPM forms?
I believe it is the Form Builder addon. It offers new forms as either Profile or Registration.
