In all payment transactions, a notification is received in the PayPal email upon successful payment.
However, it seems that the emails for subscriptions, membership level changes, and renewals are not differentiated—they all send the same email content (“Account Upgrade Notification”).For membership level changes, it’s fine to keep using “Account Upgrade Notification.” But for subscriptions and renewals, I’d like to customize the email notifications.
How can I achieve this? What should I write infunctions.php?Thank you!

ModeratorThe emails that come directly from SWPM are distinguishable. The emails that come directly from PayPal are not, and only acknowledge receipt of your money.

Perhaps I didn’t explain it clearly enough.What I meant is:
In Simple Membership → Settings → Email Settings → Email Settings (Account Upgrade Notification), you can configure the email content sent when a user changes their membership level.However, for renewals and new subscriptions, there doesn’t seem to be a dedicated place to set up email content. As a result, the same Account Upgrade Notification email is sent for subscriptions, renewals, and membership upgrades/downgrades.
If Simple Membership currently doesn’t have a built-in option to customize email content specifically for renewals and new subscriptions, how can I achieve this? How can I customize the emails sent for renewals and paid subscriptions separately?

KeymasterPreviously, the update email was used to notify members of account updates such as upgrades or renewals, indicating that a new payment had been applied to their profile. We’re currently working on adding a dedicated renewal email option, allowing separate configuration for renewal-specific notifications. This new feature should be available within a week or so.
