Tagged: dupes, duplicates, sync, unsync
On redevelopment of a website, I found that there are around 500 non genuine users in the members list. If delete them from simple membership plugin, will they get deleted from the Users also, or I have to manually remove from both. I have enabled forced sync.
If Sync is happening between the User and Simple membership list, how to run the sync.
That freaks me out!@ Not only the need to have to fine tune the sync, but not knowing how to prevent these non genuine users in the members list. How did it happen? I soon will deal with sensitive information that presents legal responsibilities.
I am don’t know PHP nor SQL… are these two files separate databases or linked via the email as the index?
Hi,
If delete them from simple membership plugin, will they get deleted from the Users also,
Yes. When you delete a member from the membership area that was also added to WP Users, will get deleted as well.
If you are concern about people signing into your Free members area, make sure you set the following feature Default Account Status to Pending. This will allow you to approve all the registration.
You can also add Google reCaptcha https://simple-membership-plugin.com/simple-membership-and-google-recaptcha-integration/
And if you want to even go further with your security add Two Factor Authentication https://simple-membership-plugin.com/swpm-two-factor-authentication-addon/
Let me know if the above helps you.
Thank you
