I really want the plugin to work the way it does on your sight. i would like registration to result in an email with a random password. Right now the registration asks for their password (Username, email, password, repeat password, first name, last name). There’s no captcha or any way to prevent bot registration.
The documentation says steps 7 & 8 further authenticates users by setting their username and password: “The member will receive an email that contains a “special” link to complete the registration.
When the member clicks on that special link in the email it will bring them to the registration page and let them choose a “username” and “password” for their account.”
Instead, the user registers and receives the registration complete email. I must have done something wrong. Should I uninstall and start over?
I have one page I want protected. It is an application form made with a form plugin. I want the applicant to have been authenticated before accessing the form so that I can confidently say their electronic signature belongs to the User who registered.
Thank you for your help.
If you want to offer free accounts then set it up using the following documentation:

thank you for your quick response; however, I was already using this add-on. No matter which level of membership or form shortcode I use, the registration form still asks for their password and by-passes the email verification process. Here are the two examples: http://chetbruce-authorityreport.com/desi/membership-join/membership-registration using shortcode for level 3 membership and http://chetbruce-authorityreport.com/desi/316-2 using level 4 shortcode.
