ParticipantWe had the form builder add on but it never worked so we want to uninstall it. When we deactivate it, users are no longer able to register at all. The registration page returns a “page not found” error.
How do we reset it to find the regular code to allow users to register?
Thank you,

ModeratorHi, what kind of problems did you have with the Form Builder Add-on if you don’t mind me asking?

ParticipantThe registration form would not retain any of the members information – the same issue xuannguyen just posted they are having with the premium form add on.
WP.Insider logged onto my site as admin and stated “I have spent some time poking around but I can’t figure out what is conflicting unfortunately”
I have deactivated the form builder addon and have moved on to finding another plugin that allows more registration fields information for our site. So far the CONNECTIONS plugin looks promising.

ModeratorOkay fair enough. Do you still want to use the Simple Membership plugin? Or do you want to remove the plugin?

ParticipantSo far, the plugin itself seems to be working ok. We will continue to use it as a frontend and try to plug the other holes needed for membership registration and management with other plugins.

ModeratorHi, in regards to the form builder add-on. I just thought I would mention to you there is a new version 3.3 which is working for many. This version in conjunction with the latest Simple Membership version fixes an issue some where having especially with the PayPal e-mail address…..

ParticipantHmmmm,
I’m hesitant to try it again honestly. As I mentioned earlier, WP.Insider was granted admin rights to our site, looked around, and responded whatever the issue was with the form builder form NOT retaining member information in the fields filled out, was indeterminable.
We have been refunded our cost for the plugin and are making due without certain key fields we would like to have at registration.
The next big issue for the SM plugin will be membership notifications for upcoming membership renewals. Gmail has a 500 messages a day limitation so we are anxious as to how this will work with our membership, which currently exceeds 500 members.
