KeymasterYou will likely need consultation because I believe you are mixing a few things up here. However, I will try to quickly explain something first.
If you directly go to the registration page (when free membership is disabled), you are suppose to get that message. So that is a valid message.
The customer is suppose to make a payment first from the “Join Us” page of your site. That’s where you put your payment button for your paid membership.
Review the following documentation carefully which outlines the steps involved for a user registration process:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/membership-registration-process-overview/For your site where you only want to offer paid membership, the following should happen:
1) Users go to the “Join Us” page where they will see the payment buttons.
2) They make a payment which will send them a unique link.
3) They click on the link to go the registration page (where they submit the registration form).Which step from the above is not happening?

ParticipantYes maybe, I missing something. But everything you mention above is part of the process I have setup.
Please visit bulletproofforbjj.com to see
1) bulletproofforbjj.com/join-us-discounted/ (Payment is made and then that wrong message gets returned)
2) Unique link is sent to the email address
3) Rego link works and gets to go to rego page.So really not sure?

KeymasterPlease share the unique link that the user receives after a payment (so I can inspect that).
Enable the debug logging option also. The following page explains the debug logging process:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/enable-debug-logging/This will show if there is any issue that is happening after the payment.

ParticipantHere is the link of a test I did previous to debug enabled –

Ok I have enabled debug mode.

KeymasterThat unique URL looks fine. Next, let me check what shortcode you have on that registration page. Our standard registration page shortcode is suppose to catch that unique link and process it. Have you done any kind of customization to this registration page? Please edit the “membership-registration” page and tell me what shortcode you have in the page.
