ParticipantHi All,
I have 1 Paid (premium) membership on my website.
All payment options (I’ve setup up both PayPal and Stripe) have a 7 day trial and paidthen subscription attached to them and when someone pays, the next message the receive is…
———————————-
Free membership is disabled on this site. Please make a payment from the Join Us page to pay for a premium membership. You will receive a unique link via email after the payment. You will be able to use that link to complete the premium membership registration.”
———————————-I’m not sure why I’m getting the first part of that message. The second part about the unique link is fine, but not the Free membership part, that should not be returned? I’ve searched support forum for similar issue, but couldn’t find someone using the free trial paid subscription option for payment buttons?
Can you please assist?
Thank you, Roger 🙂

ModeratorHi, thank you for reaching out to us.
Please check the following documentation. Let me know if this is what you did to set up your payment button with a trial period.
Kind regards

ModeratorHi, do you have a Free level set up in your site?

ParticipantI also tried this, but then it just signs them up to the free membership (Method 2) and not the paid subscription with free trial (Method 1).

ModeratorHow many different membership levels do you have set up? And what membership level have you added to the paid subscription button?

ParticipantI have two membership levels – Premium Monthly and Premium Yearly
I have setup 2 payment methods for both Stripe and Paypal, as you can see in the image below. Each payment button is attached to the relevant Monthly or Yearly membership level.
