I’m very happy with how the plugin is performing on my site, with one paid and 11 different free membership levels. There are just two improvements I’d like to make to the plugin’s forms:

1) I’d like to remove some unnecessary fields from the Profile form. No extra ones to add.
2) I’d like the the Profile and Registration forms to be fully responsive on phone screens – at the moment they do not adjust their layout properly for phones.

Is there a way of doing the above without getting the Membership From Builder Addon? Or if I do get the addon, will that let me do what I need to?

Without the Form Builder addon, there are only a limited number of changes you can make to the registration forms. The form builder addon allows you to fully customize the fields that appear on the Registration and Edit Profile Form/Page of your membership site.

SWPM is an open source freemium product. The premium addons are a “fair deal.” Plus, you are eligible for premium support; which enables you to directly contact the developers.

As for “responsiveness,” it depends on how YOU design the form(s) and how they interact with your theme.
