Featured Image does not show as Teaser Content

Dear Support Forum,

Is it possible to display the Featured Image of a protected post as part of Teaser Content?

I am developing a website for a client and have created a number of test posts, each containing an image and some text for content before the ‘more’ tag. I have also assigned a Featured Image for each post.

When using the loop to display the posts, the teaser content (ie image and text) display fine, but when I try to show the Featured Images as Thumbnails it does not work and shows ‘alt’ text instead.

Any advise would be appreciated.
