Tagged: Offline payment
Good Morning,
We attend events, and accept payments for membership by card. At present this is quite clunky as we have to set someone up in the back end of WordPress then take card payment, then go back into WordPress to mark the record as active.
What we’re looking for is a way to have an offline payment button (on a special page we’ll use when we’re at events) that means the user will sit in “registration” mode until we update the record (after taking payment through our card reader).
This will allow us to give the member the iPad to enter their own details rather than us having to do everything in the back end.
Is there a way this can easily be done?
Thanks in advance,
Michael
Thank you for reaching out to us. The plugin developers will investigate further your request.
Kind regards
Here is a suggestion that may work.
Create a new membership level for the users that will be signing up via a manual/offline payment method. Then put the registration form for that particular level on a special page using the following:

You can get the users to go to this page and fill in the details and they will go into this “special membership level”. After you collect the payment, you can change the membership level (from the admin interface) to the appropriate level that will give them access to what they paid for.
