Hi there,
I am having issue with users who report an error when they try to save changes to their user profiles.
When they click update they get an “server cannot be found” error.
Looking at the error in more details it lists OURDOMIAN.34spreview.com (34sp is our host)
It appears it’s going to, or trying to access the 34spreview.com which I believe is a staging site.
I can change details for users on the dashboard, but they cannot update their profiles themselves without getting this link.
Is it worth noting that our IPS did move our server a few weeks ago, so maybe it broke that?
How do we fix this. Everything else seems to be in working order with the plugin as far as we can tell.
Pete
Could this be connected to the issue I reported a few weeks, about a month ago too where I reported issues with PayPal IPN not making it back / communicating to the site? If users get an error when they manually update their profiles, maybe this is the reason for the IPN failing too?
@Peter171 — If your hosting provider moved your site to another server, it may be that your WP database still has pointers to the old site. You might try using MySQL to search for any URL that point back to the old site. As far as the PayPal issue is concerned, check ALL of your PayPal settings to see if anything points back to the old site.
