SM automatically created the sandbox webhook some weeks ago during the testing phase, but it did not create a live webhook. When we try the “Create live webhook” button, it gives us an error message something like error creating webhook: null. The create-sandbox-webhook button works fine. We tried deleting all webhooks, deleting the paypal token cache, and rebuilding webhooks. Again, it was able to create the sandbox webhook, but not the live webhook. We double-checked that the client ID and secret key are correct.
In the Paypal website, we were able to copy the sandbox webhook to the live one (changing “sandbox” to “live” in the url), and the SM application now is working fine with the live PayPal account. Should I be worried that SM couldn’t create a live webhook and displayed a “null” error message? Or shall I leave well enough alone? Thanks for any insights?
