Emails not being sent to user upon successful payment.

I installed plugin 3.5.6 and have tried 3.4.9 as well. I am able to successfully test the sandbox paypal payments using this plugin and it works well in that area. Unfortunately it is not sending emails to the user who are doing the payments.

1) I have already tested email functionality on the WordPress and it works well and there is no issue at all. I have used Check Email plugin to test it.

2) I have enabled IPN into the Sandbox and there are no errors from the Paypal sandbox service as well. When I log to Sandbox Business account IPN is enabled with notificaiton url. I am using ngrok to tunnel the localhost and it is working well also.

3) I tried to enable the debug checkbox of the plugin and simulated transactions so many times but plugin is not writing any data into the debug logfile.

May I request you to advise me next course of action. I really like this plugin and that is exactly I need on my new website. Please help me to sort out this email notification issues.

Hi, the e-mail is not sent while in Sandbox testing mode. This is because the account is not a real account. If you disable Sandbox mode and go live, you will be able to test to see if the e-mail is sent.

Thanks for your advice. I will test the live transaction and update you. Meanwhile can you advise me how to fix the debug issue. Enabling the debug check box is not generating any log data.

Hi, while in Sandbox mode the Debug mode will not record your transactions. Once you are in live mode, debug mode will start recording all transactions.
