A question regarding the email received as a confirmation that the password has been reset.
When I reset the password of my membership account via the front-end I receive a confirmation email, but the sender is WordPress in stead of the company name. All other emails are sent with the company name, just this one is not.
Also the email mentioned in the email under: “If you did not change your password, please contact the Site Administrator at …” is an email address I used to set up the plugin, but it has been changed in the admin account to the company email address. How do I change it to the updated email address? I can’t find an option for this password change confirmation email in the settings.
Any ideas how to change these things?
Thanks in advance for your help! 🙂
You can configure the password reset email details from the following settings
WP Membership -> Settings -> Email Settings
WordPress sends another password reset email also. I think thats the one you are referring to. You can use a plugin like the following disable the core WordPress’s default password reset email:
Thanks for your quick reply and the plugin. That is exactly what I was looking for! 🙂
i ran in the same issue like SirStancelot and deactivated the e-mail now.
But is it possible to change the e-mail from WordPress or send an e-mail from the Simple-Membership Plugin if the password is changed? That would be great!
