Email reminder for close to end of memberships?

I see there are ways to email members. Is there anyway to automatically email a member 1 week before their membership expires to remind them to revew?

Hi Roger, unfortunately at present there is not option in the plugin to carry out what you ask.

There’s no way to do this through the core plugin. I have had to write a separate plugin to calculate and monitor SWPM expiry dates and send two notification emails – one upon expiry and one slightly later as a reminder. It would be a very useful function to have built into the core.

I’m afraid you can’t. It’s a custom plugin that was written for our site and is tied into some other bits and pieces. If it was standalone, I’d happily share it.
