Is it possible for me to dynamically populate a custom field dropdown with data from an ACF field on the registration form? Thanks!
Hi, can you provide an example of what you are trying to achieve? I want to make sure I understand your question correctly.
Thank you
You bet.
I have an ACF select field in the backend that holds about 50-100 options. I pull these options to populate a select field on one of my forms (Fluent Forms), and obviously itself within the backend for the client to fiddle with. Doing it this way, the client only has to update one spot if those select options change, the ACF field. I was hoping to do something very similar with a custom select field within a user’s profile, that way the client can continue to just update the ACF field and everything else will just pull from it and update automatically.
Basically, I want to create a custom select field in the Simple Membership plugin to look at the options in the ACF field, and dynamically add those options within the select field for the profile edit form.
I do have the paid form builder.
Thank you for providing more information. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your request.
Kind regards
Hi Marlee, this is not possible unfortunately.
