Hi, I have been searching for info on the difference between the different membership status levels (such as active, expired, etc), but cannot find this in teh open documentation for this great plugin. Where can I find this info? I am interested in learning the difference in for instance login options (i.e. possible or denied) and visibility of the webpages, for the different status levels.

    Many thanks!

    /Ralf

    Dear Ralph:
I had a question that might be somewhat related to yours. The team was very responsive. Maybe you can read my post:

    Hi rcolesny,

Thanks for your reply, but your problem is not realy related, if I understand your issue/question correctly.
I wonder abuot the difference in access levels for theh different member status levels, like active and expired etc. What does an “expired” member see exactly. There are 5-6 different levels, and I don’t understand the difference in website behaviour for those status levels.

Anyhow, thanks for reading and replying!

    /Ralf

    Dear Ralph:
I am working on a condominium community where access could be hierarchical:
Visitors : only open pages (4)
Club Members : All pages but not renter’s and owner’s (3)
Renters : All pages but the ones only for owners (2)
    Owners : all pages (1)

    Level 3 can only see 1,2 and 3 …

    @Ralf, the following should help.

If an account expires naturally then the account is set to expired. If an account is deactivated for other reasons such as someone cancelling an ongoing subscription or taking a refund etc then it is set to inactive. The member is not going to be able to see any protected content if their account status is expired or inactive.

Let me know if you need more information.

    Thank you
