How many or how long does the debug show the information? I had to check the file for a new member that paid on January 5 but the debug file only shows to the 7th. Today is the 11th.

Hi, as far as I know there is no limit in the log file.

There must be or a problem with mine. I’ve enabled the option since day one (months ago) and it only shows a few days of activity.

I believe there must be a limit somewhere. I leave Debug on all the time, and periodically it wipes everything and starts again.

Luckily, I have never had to investigate anything just after a wipe, but there may come a time when I do need it.

    Cheers,

Hi, can you install the following plugin WP Control. I am curious to know if there is a cron job in your site clearing the debug mode or not. This is just for testing purposes, you can delete the WP Control plugin after this test.

    Thank you

I installed the plugin. Not sure what everything is. I only see two that maybe yours:

    swpm_account_status_event None 2017-01-13 00:49:59 (3 hours 36 minutes) 1 day Edit | Run Now | Delete
    swpm_delete_pending_account_event None 2017-01-13 00:49:59 (3 hours 36 minutes) 1 day Edit | Run Now | Delete

Both ran without error. Am I looking for something specific?

I also installed WP Crontrol and, also, just have the two:

    swpm_account_status_event None 2017-01-13 11:55:27 (3 hours 51 minutes) 1 day Edit | Run Now | Delete
    swpm_delete_pending_account_event None 2017-01-13 11:55:27 (3 hours 51 minutes) 1 day Edit | Run Now | Delete

The plugin developers will investigate further your question.

    Thank you

The plugin doesn’t auto delete the log file. There is an option in the settings to reset the log file and turn it off when you are done troubleshooting. The log file should only be used for troubleshooting an issue.

It is likely there is a file permission issue on your server which is preventing the log from being written. Something strange is definitely going on but I can’t tell for sure. This is an issue outside the plugin so I can’t be of much help.
