ParticipantCurrently the dates displayed in the Admin CP are in the format of YYYY/MM/DD. I would like the format to either be DD/MM/YYY or long version such as ‘June 19, 2017’. The user front-end is okay, as that displays with the long version.
I have checked Under WP Settings -> General and the format there is set for the long format, i.e. June 19, 2017.
I also tried changing my language settings from English (Australia) to English (UK) in case that had any bearing on the date formatting.
So just wondering how I can change the way the date is displayed in the User CP (even if I have to jump into the code, I’m okay with modifying as long as I know where to look, I just can’t write).
We use dates frequently to send expiry notices out manually (I’d actually prefer a ‘subscription end’ instead of ‘subscription start’ field, but can live with just adding a year in my head to that). But the date gets confusing because in Australia we naturally assume day before month instead of month before day.
Thanks again. 🙂

ModeratorHi, can you pin point to the date you are referring too? You might like to share a screen capture.
Kind regards

ParticipantThank you for your reply. I had to halt development of my site’s membership system due to personal reasons, so am back into it again and realised I had a support question I didn’t get to follow up.
The inconsistent date format is shown on the members listing pages – both the listing with all members, and when you view an individual member – the access starts field to be precice.
A screenshot of the individual member’s page can be found here: [http://www.compilationdesign.com/uploads/members-image.png]
As you can see, their access starts is in the format of YYYY/MM/DD, but my WordPress date format is set to an extended date format (i.e. 22 August 2017).

ModeratorHi, can you try the following. Check your laptop and or computer date format? Let me know if adjusting the date locally helps.
Regards

ParticipantHave checked my laptop and it is currently set to Australian date format – dd/mm/yyyy (with long date format of dd month yyyy). I tried changing the date format to another format, but it didn’t change anything.
I also logged onto the admin cp via my mobile and also a desktop computer, and the dates are also showing in the incorrect format there as well.
I think I might have done it originally, but can’t remember seeing it was a couple of months ago now, but I carried out the test again of disabling all other plugins, but it doesn’t make any change to the way dates are displayed.

ModeratorThank you for reporting back. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further.
Kind regards
