Currently, the expiration times for the (login) cookie is set to 3 days, or 12 days (plus 12h grace period) if user clicks “keep me logged in”.
Do you seen any problem with changing the latter to a much longer expiration time? My client does not want their members to have to login frequently. They see newspaper sites such as Washington Post setting their cookies to 1 year or more, so that in most cases paying users can directly see protected content. Could I adapt the cookie time to 1 year in SWPM, too? Note, I am aware that SWPM limits the cookie time to the expiration of the user’s membership, which makes a lot of sense.

Other than that, yeah, go for it.
OK, thanks!
