I would like to remove “Or Email” from “Username Or Email” on the Registration Form. I do NOT want my users to be using their email addresses for their usernames.
I am not using Form Builder. I do not want to buy Form Builder to make this simple change.
I have been searching these forums for what seems like ages, and the only thing I’ve been able to find is the suggestion to change line 11 in views/login.php , which I did, but it didn’t change the registration form.
Can you help please.
Thanks!
Pretend that you are translating the plugin into another language, and just edit the desired message, to what you want:

Thank you. I tried that but it didn’t work.
I changed the original simple-membership.pot, and created
simple-membership-en.mo
simple-membership-en.po
simple-membership-en_CA.mo
simple-membership-en_CA.po
simple-membership-en_US.mo
simple-membership-en.US.po files.
I dumped my cache and even tried it with two other browsers just to be sure it wasn’t a caching issue, but the label still says Username or Email.
Any other ideas?
I have the same problem here, i am using the plugin Locotranslate, i cant translate the label for the “Password” field.
