ParticipantWe are a membership organization. I’m using this plugin to set aside a Members Only section. People keep confusing the “Join Us” link on the plugin form as a place to join the organization. I want to change the wording of that link to “Register” to eliminate the confusion. Can that be done?

ParticipantI would like to change that initial page as well.

KeymasterYou can hide that “Join Us” link by using a small CSS tweak (this is the easiest option I believe). The following page has useful example:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/miscellaneous-css-tweaks-simple-membership-plugin/Check the “Hiding the Join Us Link” section in that page.
To customize the message (including the join us link) in the content protection message, you can use the following option:

So in your language file, you will specify what a particular word/message will output. The following page explains how you can create a language translation file:

ParticipantThanks for the attempt at an answer. I’ve read through all of the pages referenced and don’t see how it gets to just renaming a link called “Join Us.”

ModeratorHi,
I’ve read through all of the pages referenced and don’t see how it gets to just renaming a link called “Join Us.”
The following addon https://simple-membership-plugin.com/simple-membership-custom-messages-addon/ carries out this task using php code in the backend.
Kind regards

ParticipantApologies, I must be just not seeing this properly on my screen.
Can you point me in the direction of where to customise language on the login page. For my site, it is: https://go-group.co.uk/membership-login/. I cannot see the log in page listed in the customisable add on form. I’d just like to change the language to read “Sign Up” instead of “Join Us” as we have a recruitment piece called “Join us”.
Many thanks. -
