Can't remove blue background on payment button images

When I use a button image with the shortcode for a payment button, the image has a blue background. If I use any transparency, the background is blue. But even when I don’t use transparency, there is a blue outline around the image. Any way to remove?

For the above image, what is the code that you used?

I added the image URL to the “image URL” field inside of the plugin. Here’s the path:
WP Membership > Payments > Manage Payment Buttons > (edit button) > Button Image URL (at the bottom)
