    Hello!! When I try to activate the mailchimp integration plugin I get

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home/*****/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-membership-mailchimp-integration/swpm-mailchimp-action.php on line 3

    WordPress 4.7.5
    Colormag theme
    Php Version 5.6
    Wordpress simple membership Versión 3.4.7

    Any clues?? Thank you!!!

    Hi, what version of the MailChimp plugin are you using? The current version is 1.7.

    Your server is using a very old version of PHP. The new MailChimp library requires at least PHP5.5+

    Contact your hosting provider and request them to upgrade your server’s PHP version to a more recent version then you won’t have this issue anymore.

    As stated on my first post, PHP version is 5.6
