Tagged: captcha
If in WP-admin I go to Add-ins I can see it listed with a burgundy background but cant add it from there (if I click on it it just takes me to https://simple-membership-plugin.com/simple-membership-and-google-recaptcha-integration/ from where I can physically download it, but that is no good for WordPress.com is it? If I go to Plugins – Add New and search for it it isnt there. Can you help please?
Is it a correct assumption, that your site is a WordPress.com hosted site?
Unless you have a “Business Plan,” you cannot upload your own plugins. This means you cannot follow the installation instructions for the Addon.
Even if that particular Addon was available in the WordPress.org plugin directory; only a very-limited subset of “cherry picked (by WordPress) plugins is available to non Business Plan WordPress.com users.
Perhaps you should consider using a hosting provider other than WordPress.com for your site.
Hi, yes I use WordPress.com as stated in the title to my question and I am already subscribed to the ‘Business’ plan, hence how I am already using your simple membership plugin. How do I add your Google reCAPTCHA addin?
thank you
Which step of the instructions is giving you difficulties? If you are still “stuck” someplace in Step 2?
Apologies. I thought those instructions were for wordpress.org sites rather than .com. Now installed and working. Thank you for your help!
