ParticipantI noticed that there was no message after posting the registration form. I have installed the custom messages add-on and supplied my own message and it’s also not displaying. The content of the Registration page is only “[swpm_registration_form]”. How can I troubleshoot?

ModeratorHi, can you enable Debug mode and carry out a registration test. Then check the log files.
Thank you

ParticipantI have the same problem on a site I am working on. Neither before nor after installation of custom messages add on does the registration form redirect itself to any success message / confirmation. Having followed above recommendation debug doesn’t return any results at all. What are the next steps?

Moderator@MAT200 are you also using the Form Builder addon?

ParticipantI am using the custom messages add on. But it also doesn’t work when it is disabled. My original installation of the form builder was circa 10 days ago. Fingers crossed for a solution!

ModeratorAre you also using the Login redirect addon?
If not to the above, just for testing purposes can you disable the Form Builder addon. Then carry out a test.
Thank you

ParticipantI do use the login redirect and have it set for different pages. I also have all registrations set to pending. Even a test with registrations set to accepted didn’t forward them to the opening page from the registration form (it does from the login form, don’t worry)
Let me know if you still would like that I test without the custom messages add on activated.
And sorry if I’ve been at all unclear but I don’t have any form builder plugin. Just this simple membership plugin and these add ons: custom messages, after login redirection, form short code and mailchimp integration.
I hope this helps clarify the current set up.
Best regards

ParticipantHi There,
Even with the custom messages deactivated there is no success message.
Any suggestions to make it work are very welcome 🙂 I have some people getting very angry with me about this.
Best regards

ModeratorHi Martine,
Can you do me a favor and start a new support thread explaining your actual problem. I want to separate your issue from the originator of this thread. That way if I cannot resolve your issue the plugin developers will be able to follow through all the troubleshooting.
Thank you

ParticipantFinally getting back to this now. I enabled debugging and here are the results, no error messages.

Moderator@dhawley, so let me see if I understand your current situation. You can register without a problem, is that correct? But you are not any messages displayed after the registration? Are you receiving any e-mail messages when your register? Also are we talking about Free membership registration?
